Our series in Acts continues with, "The (not so) New Way." We take a bit of a deeper dive into who Saul/Paul was. Who was he, what was his background, education, why was he so passionate? Pastor Josiah points out how important Paul's background really was and how God used it to move His plan forward. In response to understanding Paul, and his story it leads us to 2 important questions we need to ask ourselves. How can God use my background/past to be a part of moving his plan forward? What is the driving force behind what I am passionate about?

A name for ourselves or are we living so that God's name will be passed down. Pastor Josiah, looks at the story of Joshua, who's life and name aren't the first we remember as being great. But is really someone who we should look to as an example of impacting the world for God's name rather than our own.

We look at Philip another chosen for a specific task, and how he did not disqualify himself to do what God was asking him to do. Which poses a question for us, are we disqualifying ourselves from doing what God is asking us to do or are we willing and available?
