Who;s In & Who's Out

We are looking at Galatians chapter 2, which is a continuation of chapter 1 and the "arguments" that Paul is making. Paul is addressing what it means to follow Jesus, who are the real followers, and how do we know they are true followers. Something we still are struggling with in the church today. So what's the answer?

Galatians 1

Galatians 1 - Paul has 2 main focuses in this first chapter. The gospel and his apostleship. What is an apostle? As we dive in we also see that there is an encouragement and a warning not just for the church in Galatia but for us today.

Discipleship - Follow Me as I Follow Christ

Last week we talked about how we are all shaped or a a disciple of something. Pastor Josiah challenged us to give God a year, to be fully in, and committed to becoming a disciple of Him. Once we choose that, what's next? What are our next steps? How do we do it?

What does it mean to be a Christian? What is a disciple? Who are we following? These are important questions we must all ask ourselves.

Global - Be a Sender

We all have a part to play in bringing the good news to the nations. We are challenged to think about the important role we as believers play, and how important it is to be a sender. We need to be intentionally asking God how he wants to use us and what he wants us to give to make an impact so that all the world can hear the good news.

Global - The Need

How intentional are we in bringing the good news to people? Understanding that how we communicate this good news to others is something we need to think about and understand, especially to other cultures and nations. How does this shift our thoughts on missions, and how it is done. Understanding that it takes intentionality in order for the message to be clearly heard and received.

Global - God's Plan

It is so important for us to remember where we came from, and how it all started. What is our mission? How did it all start? Why should that matter to us?

Easter Sunday 2024

Easter Sunday a day of celebration, everything we do is based on Jesus resurrection. It's one thing to have knowledge of Jesus death and resurrection but there is so much more that Jesus taught and showed us that is vitally important to being a follower of Christ.
