Suffering

This week we look at the story of Job. It is a story that most of us are familiar with, and have found comfort in the story as we go through our own times of suffering. But is the story of Job just simply a lesson in suffering or is there something much deeper for us to learn and apply to our own lives?

Great Commission

This week we look at the idea of Missions, specifically the scriptural backing that is referred to as the Great Commission. For most of us, we have heard about missions and missionaries, but statistically how are we doing as a "Church" in spreading the gospel. We look at some eye opening statistics of how much of our world is unreached.

Obedience

Obedience what does that look like? How would we define disobedience? Disobedience we all would agree would simply be saying no to something. Pastor Josiah walks us through a few passages of scripture, and different situations in our own lives and we find that we can be disobedient in different ways.

Impossible Love

There is so much happening in our world today. With the recent events in the Middle East so many of us have some type of emotional reaction to what is happening. But as Jesus followers how should we respond? Pastor Josiah walks us through several examples in scripture, and challenges us to maybe re-evaluate how we respond to tragic events in our world today.

This Is Us - Our Priority

In our final week of "This Is Us." We look our final statement that we want our church to be known for. What is it that our church prioritizes? Of all of the other statements we have talked about, this priority is what would be the foundation of them all.

This Is Us - Holy Spirit Led& Biblically Anchored

We continue our series, "This is Us" with another statement that we want our church to be. What does it mean to be Holy Spirit led? We see God leading people throughout the Bible in different ways. We walk through several passages where the Holy Spirit lead people, giving them direction. We need to ask ourselves, are we willing to be guided, and partner with God in every aspect of our life?

Last week we kicked off our series, "This is Us." This series talks about what we feel like this community, this church is all about. How do we want our church described? This week we take a look at the statement, "Our community contagiously pursues Jesus with everything we have." What does that mean and what does that look like? Is the way we live our lives so different, that the people around us take notice and want the same?

Kicking off a new series, "This is Us." We want to talk about what we feel like this community, this church is all about. How do we want our church described? Over the next few weeks we will go over statements of what we want our church to look like and what it takes to be a part of it. This week we talk about how we authentically share our lives with one another.

Ephesians 6:10-24

We conclude the book of Ephesians, looking at what is a well known passage, the armor of God. A lot of us grew up with the thought of going into battle for God. But how does this go with the theme that Paul has had throughout the letter? What did Paul mean when he said to put on the armor of God?

Ephesians 4:17 - 6:9

Continuing our study in Ephesians, we look at 3 chapters of Paul's letter. After the first half of Ephesians lays down the foundational of beliefs, the second half is how we are to practically live it out. We see that it's much more than rules to follow. It's how we treat those around us and if we are living in a way understanding that every moment is significant.
